Our services
We conveniently provide a wide variety of services right in our office. The services below are just a few of the many offered to our patients.
Preventative care
Physical examinations are often the best way to detect illnesses early or prevent future problems. Coverage for this service varies among insurance plans. It is recommended that you check with your insurance carrier to determine your benefits for routine physicals. This will significantly decrease the amount you will be responsible to pay.
Women's health
We provide routine gynecologic services. Examples of such services include pelvic examinations, pap smears, breast exams, testing for sexually transmitted diseases, evaluation of urinary incontinence and treatment of menopausal symptoms. Although we don't perform mammograms in our office, we will be happy to refer you to a facility that offers this service.
Bone density testing
Osteoporosis is a serious health concern for most women and some men. Because Osteoporosis has no symptoms until a fracture occurs, a bone density screening scan is important for those patients at risk of developing this disease. This quick, painless test can be performed in our office by a certified densitometry technician. Please ask your physician if you would benefit from this service.
Acute care
Our goal is to provide a same-day visit when you have an acute problem. We do save a number of visits each day for this purpose. If a same-day appointment is not possible, you will be offered our first available time. In some situations you may be directed to the nearest urgent care center or emergency room, depending on the severity of your problem.

Laboratory & radiology services
Laboratory
Should your provider need to order laboratory tests, we can collect your various specimens right in our office laboratory. Some tests are run in-house but the majority are sent to a reference laboratory. Most labs are billed separately.
You should receive notification of lab results by mail within 3 weeks of your test, often times sooner. If your results require immediate notification, we will contact you by telephone. If you have not received results within 3 weeks of the testing, please feel free to call our office (medical records) for results. Future laboratory tests ordered by your physician can be performed without an appointment Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. We cannot perform lab tests ordered by physicians outside of our office.
Radiology
Most routine x-rays and ultrasounds are performed by our registered radiology or ultrasound technicians. Although the films are often reviewed by your provider, they are sent out to be read by a radiologist, a physician who is specially trained to read these studies. More complicated studies can be scheduled at one of several conveniently located outpatient radiology centers.
Medication management
If you have a chronic disease such as diabetes or asthma, our clinical pharmacy specialist can help answer questions and address concerns you might have about your medications. You can also get help managing weight loss, pain and symptoms caused by quitting smoking.
