I have been a patient of Dr. Allen Wong’s for over a decade and I have always found him to be extremely knowledgeable, thorough and personable. I moved away from Matthews a few years ago and drive over an hour now to see him. I don’t want to see anyone else.

Some people see internal medicine as a very complicated practice. Allen Wong, MD, sees it as simply the purest form of medicine. He believes in getting to know each of his patients and understanding their personal needs. His goal is to provide each patient with one-on-one care that is relevant to them. Dr. Wong enjoys handling cases and problems related to cardiology, but also enjoys the variety internal medicine provides. Dr. Wong has been recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance for providing quality heart, stroke and diabetes care. When he is not working, Dr. Wong's time is spent with his family. He has a wonderful wife, a brilliant stepson, his charming daughters and their Chihuahua.
